Directions

Coming From Park City:

Take Kearns Blvd. (next to The Yarrow Hotel) east out of town for 2 miles to Highway 40 and take the 40 east onramp to Heber. Follow '40' for 15 miles to Heber City. At the last stop light in town (you'll see an Arby's and a Claimjumper restaurant) take a right onto highway 189 and continue south on '189' for 20 miles.

This scenic highway will take you around the Deer Creek reservoir, over the dam itself, and into Provo Canyon. As you wind down the canyon you will go through a tunnel in the mountainside and pass the Sundance turnoff.

You will soon see a large brown sign for Vivian Park and the Heber Historic Railroad. Immediately merge into the left turn lane and enter our parking area. There are two entrances close together into the Vivian Park area and we are located at the first one. If you cross a bridge into Vivian park (the second entrance), you'll need to turn around and head back up the highway one block to our entrance.

NOTE: If you see a big waterfall on the left, you've gone 1.5 miles too far.

Coming From SLC:

Head south on I-15 to exit 272. Turn left off the exit and follow it through a series of stoplights. As you approach the mountains the road forks into the canyon and down to Provo. Stay in the left lane (189 north) up Provo Canyon towards Heber City.

Proceed 6 miles up the canyon until you reach Vivian Park. Proceed 50 meters beyond the entrance of Vivian Park and turn right into our parking area. Note: We are located 2 miles past Bridal Veil Falls.

NOTE: If you reach a tunnel, you have gone about 1/2 mile too far.
If you see a reservoir you have gone 6 miles too far.

Coming From Provo or I-15 Northbound:

Follow University Ave in Provo about 9 miles(from East Bay) to the entrance of the canyon (Highway 189). Stay to the right and proceed 6 miles until you reach Vivian park. Proceed 50 meters past the entrance of Vivian and turn right into our parking lot. We are located 2 miles past Bridal Veil Falls.

NOTE: If you reach a tunnel, you have gone about 1/2 mile too far.
If you see a reservoir you have gone 6 miles too far.
